Isaac Twum named 2017 WAFU best player
Inter Allies and Black Stars B captain Isaac Twum was named the overall Best Player in the just ended 2017 West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup of Nations.
The midfielder was outstanding as he led the Black Stars to win the rejuvenated competition at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday evening.
He played all the six matches for the Black Stars B side at the tournament and as a leader of the team.
Twum transferred his club form to the National team by putting up a masterclass performance throughout the competition.
The Inter-Allies skipper earned himself a man-of-the match award in Ghana’s opening game against Gambia.
