Ropapa scores, Abass grabs assist, Opoku features in Islanders’ win
In form striker Ropapa Mensah continued his fine form as he scored for the Harrisburg City Islanders in their 2-0 win against Saint Louis in the USL.
The game played at the FNB Field in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania happened to be the Isalnders last home game of the season saw 3017 fans at the Stadium.
Manolo Sanchez opened the scoring in the 4th minute from a beautiful assist by Abass Mohammed who has recently earned a call up to the Ghana senior national team.
Ropapa Mensah then scored his fourth goal from three matches in the 75th from a well worked goal to make it a comfortable win for the Islanders.
Abass Mohammed was replaced in the 86th minute by Fredrick Opoku who also featured in the latter part of the game.
Harrisburg City Islanders will now play Charleston Battery away in their last game of the season on the 7th of October 2017.
