Ropapa named City Islanders’ Fans’ Player of the Year
Ropapa Mensah wins Islanders’ Fans’ Player of the Season award as the striker adds to the Club’s top scorer accolade.
Young striker Ropapa Mensah has been named the Capital City Crew Fans’ Player of the Year for his outstanding performance for the Harrisburg City Islander during the 2017 USL season.
On top of a fine season for a young striker he scored 7 goals in his debut season in the USL for the Islanders, claiming the Club’s goal king award.
He appeared 19 times and started on 15 occasions, coming off the bench 4 times and getting substituted 4 times.
With a fine season for him, he won 5 Harrisburg City Islanders man of the match awards and 4 USL MVPs.
One of the seven goals won one USL Goal of the Week and was named in the USL Team of the Week twice.
To cap it off, he’s been also named for nomination for the USL Player of the Month for September.
