Evans Mensah stars in HJK’s UEFA CL draw.

Forward Evans Mensah featured for HJK Helsinki in their goalless stalemate against Bate Borisov in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

HJK are getting closer to the group stage of this year’s competition with their first leg away draw at the Borisov Arena on Barysaw in Borisov.

Evans played 89 minutes and was substitued by Finnish defender Mikko Sumusalo.

HJK would only hope to qualify for the next stage when both sides meet again for the second leg at the Tella 5G areena in Helsiki next week.

They eliminated Vikingur from the previous stage to reach this far.
