Prosper Kasim happy with late winner for Birmingham Legion

Prosper Kasim helped Birmingham Legion to their first home win the USL in their inaugural season with a stunning late goal.

The home team defeated Loudoun United FC 1-0 and couldn’t hide his excitement faster getting the all important goal for his side.

Kasim on scoring the first Legion FC goal at BBVA Compass Field: “We just worked very hard for it.”

“We were all fighting so hard, and I just happened to be the one to get the goal, but I’m very happy about it.”

“I was so eager to score, not only me but each and every one of us wanted to score. All I realized was the ball was right in front of me, and I just have to finish.”
