Joseph Aidoo makes major debut in Ghana’s AFCON win

KRC Genk defender Joseph Aidoo had a fair share of playing time for the Black Stars as they beat Guinea-Bissau 2-0 to qualify for the last 16 round of the 2019 Africa  Cup of Nation.

The center back played the entire duration of the game to help the Black Stars record first win in the competition after drawing 2-2 with Benin and 0-0 with Cameroon.

Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey got the goals for Ghana to set up a round of 31 tie with Tunisia on Monday evening.
