SWEDEN – Abdul Halik Hudu joins Sundsvall for the rest of the season:
Swedish second-tier side GIF Sundsvall have announced securing a loan deal for Ghana midfielder Abdul Halik Hudu from Hammarby IF.
The agreement spans through the ongoing 2020 season which is nine games old already.
Halik, 20, joined Hammarby from Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies in 2018 but is yet to make a senior debut in the league for the side.
After a number of outings for the Hammarby youth side, the former Ghana U-20 attacking midfielder was shipped out to IK Frej. He has combined a total of 29 competitive matches and scored three goals since arriving in Sweden.
Halik featured in the opening match of the Swedish Division 1 with IK Frej but has since not been out of the team preparing for a switch up to the Superettan at Sundsvall.
Abdul Halik Hudu has already arrived at GIF Sundsvall and will hold his first training with the side later today.
