GERMANY – Afeez Aremu plays as St Pauli wins:
Nigerian midfielder Afeez Aremu played his part for St Pauli as they traveled away to beat Heidenheim 4-3 in the Bundesliga 2.
Pauli who had lost their last game against Bochum had no option than to win to bolster their hopes of not dropping into the relegation zone.
They put a fantastic performance at the Voith-Arena where Aremu joined play from the 59th minute, replacing Eric Anders Smith.
He bossed the center of the pitch with hard tackles to stop attacks and his fine passing to connect the final third from the defence.
Just three minutes into the game, Burgstaller scored for the visitors, Kleindienst levelled after a quarter of an hour gone. Kyereh made Pauli went to the break leading 2-1.
Kühlwetter levelled early minutes after recess, but Becker restored the visitors lead again because Kleindienst levelled once more time completing his brace.
With three minutes to full time, Zalazar stole the three maximum points for the visitors.
