Joseph Aidoo named in Ghana Football Awards Dream Team

Defender Joseph Aidoo has been named in the 2018/19 Ghana Football Awards Dream Team of the year.

Aidoo had a stellar season with KRC Genk in Belgium, helping them to the win the Belgian League. He made the UEFA Europa League Breakthrough Team of the year.

He was also named in the UEFA Team of the week for match day 5 in the Group Stage of the Europa League.

The second edition of the Ghana Football Awards was held on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at the Marriot Hotel in Accra to recognise the effort of footballers in the year under review

The event was well well attended by dignitaries, journalists and Ghanaian football stars

Thomas Partey, who was crowned the overall best player in last year’s ceremony defended his crowned this year, and also took home the best foreign player awards.
