Ropapa Mensah starts Riverhounds career with a win:
Ropapa Mensah started his Pittsburgh Riverhounds with a 3-1 away win over Louisville City in the USL Championship.
The visitors had to climb back from a goal down to secure all the maximum points in this important opening game.
Louisville got on the board first in the 18th minute by Speedy Williams before Jordan Dove got the leveller before the break.
Back from recess Robbie Mertz put the visitors in front in the 48th minute, and Anthony Velarde added one more in the 51st minute.
Ropapa Mensah assisted both of Pittsburgh’s second-half goals, and added three shots (one on target) of his own.
The win pushes the Hounds into first place in Group F.
